...may I invite you?!
Let's visit and explore the various towns of Vorarlberg together. They couldn't be more different from each other and they tell their history and their stories in a very individual manner.
Bregenz shows its face with much modern architecture, advanced and also with a bit glamour. But with it's old town, it also has a very soft side to show. The capital of Vorarlberg is the cultural hotspot at Lake Constance and offers, beside a plenty of well worth seeing events, the biggest floating stage in Europe.
Also situated at Lake Constance, nearly opposite Bregenz, you can see Lindau. The bavarian town and island has conserved its charme of centuries. It impresses with medieval alleys and picturesque facades. In Lindau you feel taken back to former times and you should take time to enjoy the atmosphere.
Hohenems tells you from knights, castles and the song of the Nibelungs. The earls of Hohenems were on familiar terms with the high nobility up to the pope. Their rennaissance styled residence was befitting the social status and way of life. During the 17th century the earl allowed some jewish families to settle down. Since then two different culturs and religions lived together for about 300 years.Today the past jewish quarter is well renovated and with the jewish museum it became a place of encounter and memory.
Follow me through these expressive small towns - I look forward to welcoming you!
